The DJI Mic 3 two-transmitter kit puts a microphone on each of two speakers and brings both into one receiver, clipped to a camera or plugged into a phone or computer. Each transmitter records internally to 32 GB of built-in storage, in 24-bit or 32-bit float, so a clipped or interrupted take can be recovered afterwards. Timecode is built in, and DJI quotes 400 m of range in the open.
The transmitter runs for 8 hours and the receiver for 10, and the charging case recharges all three about 2.4 times, which DJI puts at 28 hours in all. The case holds the transmitters with windscreens and clips still attached. If more people need a microphone, the receiver takes up to four transmitters.
