The TC90 KIT pairs TP-Link's TC90 pan-and-tilt camera with a Tapo A201 solar panel, so it goes up wherever there is sun and no socket. TP-Link says 45 minutes of direct sunlight runs the camera for a day, and the built-in battery keeps it going through dull weather.
It records 2K 3MP video, pans 340 degrees and tilts 90 for 360-degree coverage, and tracks a person automatically. At night it switches between infrared to 10 m and full colour under its two spotlights. Motion and person detection, activity zones, a siren and two-way talk are all built in.
Recordings go to a microSD card of up to 512 GB with no subscription, or to Tapo Care cloud storage on a plan. Both the camera and the panel are rated IP65. The box includes the panel bracket, a 4 m extension wire and mounting hardware.
